PEI ANC a Finalist for the Community Impact Award
Chamber of Commerce Recognizes our Contribution to the Community

The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists for this year's President's Excellence Awards. The PEI Association for Newcomers to Canada has been chosen as the finalist in the Community Impact category, along with the Confederation Centre of the Arts and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of PEI.
The President's Excellence Awards are presented annually in six categories: Excellence in Business, Emerging Business, Community Impact, Customer Service, Best use of Technology, and Health and Wellness. They recognize the successes, innovation and community contribution of the organizations, companies and individuals who are members of the Chamber.
This is the second time for the PEI ANC to be an honoured nominee for this prestigious award. The first time the Association was in the finals in 2008.
Finalists are selected based on the following criteria:
- Community involvement
- Contribution to the Greater Charlottetown Area
- Management styles
- Programs and services
The nominees will be honoured and the winners announced at the 5th Annual President's Excellence Awards Dinner on Thursday, November 4th 2010, at the Delta Prince Edward Hotel.
