  • Charlottetown and surrounding areas
  • Summerside - Charlottetown

Charlottetown and Surrounding Areas

Charlottetown bus
One of Charlottetown's colourful trolley-like buses

Charlottetown has a public bus lines system running Monday to Saturday. A schedule can be obtained from a bus driver, at the City Hall, at tourist information booths, on information boards at shopping malls and other public places, or on the Internet. [See Related Resources]

The nearby towns of Cornwall and Stratford also have bus routes that connect to the Charlottetown bus system. The routes from Cornwall and Stratford run Monday to Friday.

This is an inexpensive way to travel around Charlottetown, Cornwall and Stratford, costing only $2.25 a ticket. You can get a discount if you:

  • purchase 20 tickets or a monthly pass
  • are a senior, or
  • are a student

Summerside - Charlottetown

County Line Express connects Summerside and Charlottetown. It stops along Route 2 in Hunter River and Kensington and runs Monday to Friday.
