This is a day to encourage peaceful relations between people from all cultures and religions. The PEI Association for Newcomers to Canada and the Dreamweaver Youth Group will be holding an event on Friday, June 1st at 3:30 pm...
The event will involve the planting of a red oak tree at Joseph A. Ghiz Memorial Park, and decorating the tree with symbols representing various religions and cultures around the world. Dignitaries and representatives from religious organizations will be invited to attend the ceremony. There will be light refreshments served at the event.
