Public Lecture on Conflict Resolution in Africa

A public lecture on Nigeria's role in peace building and conflict resolution in Africa will be held at the K.C. Irving Building, room 104 on the UPEI campus (4:00 pm). The lecture will be given by Dr. Joseph H. P. Golwa, The Director General for the Institute for peace and conflict Resolution in Abuja, Nigeria.


The Dr. Frank MacKinnon Lecture Series presents a public lecture by Dr. Joseph Golwa. Dr. Golwa is Director General of the Institute for peace and Conflict Resolution in Abuja, Nigeria. As head of the IPCR, Dr. Golwa seeks to establish an intellectual base to support government efforts in peace promotion and conflict management in both Nigeria and Africa as a whole. The Dr. Frank MacKinnon lecture Series is sponsored by the Confederation Centre of the Arts and UPEI in honour of Dr. Frank MacKinnon, a leader in the Island's education system and the driving force behind the Confederation Centre.
