EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The PEI Association for Newcomers to Canada is seeking a Permanent, Full-time Multicultural Education Program (MEP) Worker.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Developing and delivering interactive presentations on multiculturalism and immigration to school-age       
   children, community organizations, governments, and private-sector business.
• Providing cultural sensitivity and anti-racism training workshops to service providers.

Qualifications:

• A university or college degree in the human or social sciences
• Experience developing and delivering interactive group presentations and workshops.
• Competency with computers and presentation software

Assets:
• A working capacity in multiple languages, especially French
• Previous experience working with newcomers
• Demonstrated experience with public speaking
• Multi-cultural experience and knowledge of Immigration
• Prior experience teaching school-age children
