English for Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs) is an intensive communication course that focuses on the language skills needed to practice effectively in a Canadian healthcare work environment. Courses are administered by The PEI Association for Newcomers to Canada and supported by Health Canada...



The Course will Include topics such as:
  • Medical Terminology
  • Writing healthcare reports and forms
  • "Soft Skills" and non-verbal communication
  • Patient-healthcare provider interaction
This course begins Saturday, September 15, 2007 and will run every Saturday until December 22 from 9:30am-3:00pm with 1/2 hour lunch break.

Registration is free and childcare is provided

***Entrance into the program will be subject to a Language Assessment. All participants must be at a CLBA or CLBPT level of 5 or above.***
