On Friday, September 21st at 7:30 pm, in the UPEI Faculty Lounge, (Main Building) there will be a concert and screening of the short film ‘Work for Peace...Stop Paying for War’ created for Conscience Canada by award-winning director Sarah Zammit. This film illustrates the dilemma of ‘Conscientious Objectors’, i.e., the decision to obey tax laws and pay for war- or follow your conscience and redirect those taxes to peace. Featuring former BC Supreme Court Justice Thomas R. Berger, MP Bill Siksay, Hon. Jean Augustine, Jane Pritchard, Joshua Goldberg and Bruna Nota.
